Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) released a statement announcing the EPBA All Island Open Badminton Championships 2026, organised with the Eastern Province Badminton Association (EPBA). The tournament is a National Ranking Level 1 event where senior and junior players can earn official national ranking points.
The competition is scheduled for 22 to 27 September 2026 at the Mc Heyzer Indoor Stadium in Trincomalee. Organisers said entry forms and the tournament prospectus are available from the SLB office; for confirmation of entries and rules contact the tournament office directly.
Organisers listed the sponsors as Li-Ning, Hundred, Mobil 1, 3M, McLarens Group, Elite Shuttler and Spartan Rise Badminton Academy.
