
The Sri Lankan rupee weakened slightly against the US dollar at several commercial banks on 02, compared with Tuesday. Most banks, however, quote the US dollar selling rate around Rs. 332.
Seylan Bank’s published board shows the buying rate at Rs. 323.65 and the selling rate at Rs. 332.90.
NDB Bank lists the buying rate at Rs. 323.40, up from Rs. 323.30, while the selling rate rose to Rs. 332.40 from Rs. 332.30.
People’s Bank updated its buying rate to Rs. 324.11 from Rs. 323.96, and its selling rate to Rs. 332.14 from Rs. 331.99.
Commercial Bank of Ceylon shows a buying rate of Rs. 322.11 and a selling rate of Rs. 332.00. Sampath Bank lists buying at Rs. 324.00 and selling at Rs. 332.00.
