Apartner, a digital property management and community platform in Sri Lanka, told Lakbima News it has signed a partnership with Uber to provide apartment residents with offers on Uber rides and Uber Eats. The agreement adds mobility and food delivery offers to Apartner’s resident benefits section.
According to the company, residents in buildings that use the Apartner service will be able to claim Uber and Uber Eats offers through the Apartner app. Apartner says the offers apply to commutes, food and grocery orders and similar daily uses, and that the arrangement brings those services into the app’s benefits area.
Shehan Adikari, COO of Apartner, said: “Apartment living in Sri Lanka is changing and residents expect technology to make daily life easier. By adding Uber and Uber Eats offers to the Apartner app, we are bringing services residents already use into one place. As our community grows, we want Apartner to be the primary way residents access these services.”
Varun Wijewardane, country manager – Delivery, Uber Sri Lanka, said: “People look for convenience across their day, from getting to work to ordering dinner. This partnership lets us bring Uber and Uber Eats closer to apartment communities in Sri Lanka and give residents added value on services they use every day.”
Apartner provided Lakbima News with a screenshot showing the Uber offers listed under the app’s benefits section for a participating building. The company says residents can access the offers from the benefits tab in the Apartner app.
