COLOMBO (Lakbima News): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Vijitha Herath will undertake an official visit to the United Arab Emirates from September 2 to 3, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in its programme release.
The two-day trip will include meetings with senior UAE ministers to discuss bilateral cooperation on foreign employment, trade, investment, tourism and economic development, the ministry’s schedule shows.
Planned meetings on the agenda include Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al Awar, UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism.
As part of the official programme, Minister Herath will attend the second edition of “Sri Lanka Beyond Your Dreams” in Dubai on September 2, according to the ministry document.
The event is listed as also attended by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade.
