
Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath will travel to the United Arab Emirates on September 2–3 to strengthen cooperation on employment, trade and tourism.
The Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying Minister Herath will meet several UAE ministers, including Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, to discuss labour arrangements, trade ties and tourism links.
On September 2, Minister Herath will attend the second edition of “Sri Lanka Beyond Your Dreams” in Dubai with Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade of the UAE. The Foreign Ministry described the event as a platform to promote Sri Lanka’s tourism and investment opportunities. (Lakbima News)
